“Avatar” is now the highest grossing movie in history surpassing “Titanic” both movies are directed by James Cameron. It took more than five years to make this blockbuster sci-fi epic movie and had a budget of no less than $300 million therefore making it one of the most expensive films ever made.
Avatar sales worldwide is now at $1.859 billion while 1997 movie Titanic sales was at $1.843 billion according to the spokesperson of Fox, Greg Brilliant.
Avatar won Best Director – Motion Picture for James Cameron and the Best Motion Picture – Drama in the recent67th Golden Globe Awards.
